My introduction to Magnetic Junction was originally on the technical side, as opposed to the editorial, owing to my current profession of providing consulting services to media companies. However, the nature of the website, the quality of ideas and articles, and the enthusiasm of the team soon converted me into a contributor.
I have always enjoyed adrenaline sports and outdoor activities, with my earliest memories being of rock climbing with my father in Snowdonia and skiing in the Alps. These are pursuits that I continue to enjoy along with an array of other outdoor sports that I have been introduced to over the years.
Of late I have gone on a water-sports binge, having taken up open water swimming and surfing. I have been fortunate enough to experience the South American waves, Indonesian tides and the Australian surfing crowds. I look forward to watching the development of Magnetic Junction, and hope that it can help others and myself find those “perfect waves“.
