Sam Travis

I was eleven years old when I first experienced the rush of surfing. At that point I was living in Trinidad where the waves were small but exhilarating from five feet. At the age of thirteen I discovered windsurfing in Kos, and snowboarding shorty after.

In my mid-teenage years I wanted to become a windsurfing instructor; The laid-back lifestyle appealed to me so in June 2008 I went to Greece and worked towards getting my license. In that year working as an instructor, not only did I improve my skills, but I also got loads of experience which has allowed me to challenge myself and get even better. Following this, I went straight to the Alps to work and did a season in St Anton. Now I snowboard twice a year, in various locations across the Alps and the Rocky Mountains.

During my childhood I lived in nine different countries, helping me develop a keen interest in new cultures and environments. Being out of my comfort zone and doing extreme sports is what I live for.
