Itinerary

On arrival in Mo I Rana on Day 1 you will be met by your guide and your group will be transported to the small port of Kilboghavn where you will be briefed on the trip by the guide before retiring to small cottages for the night. Day 2 will allow you to hone your kayaking skills as your set out to a beautiful fjord where you will camp that night. The real kayaking begins on Day 3, over the next three days you will explore the Helgeland Coastline, navigating your kayak between small islands and exploring the vast fjords. This section of the trip is slightly weather dependent, although you are guaranteed an amazing three days kayaking, the distance which you can travel from the shore will depend on the calmness of the sea. For these three nights you will spend the night camping, under the stars. On Day 6 you will be able to enjoy your final day of kayaking knowing that night you will sleep in an authentic Norwegian cabin, where you can sleep soundly after a hearty dinner. On Day 7 you will be transported back to Mo I Rana where the trip finishes.

    Other Information

    The trip is branded as “moderate”, the Tour Operator recommends that individuals have some prior experience of sea kayaking, although prior extensive knowledge is not necessary. It should also be noted that group sizes are between 4-8 members and individuals often book alone, in which case they will be allocated with another member of the group for accommodation.
